Zoe Kozlowski

Zoe KozlowskiI graduated with an Honors Health, Society & Policy Degree. My thesis was "Assessing the Contraceptive Needs of Homeless Women in Salt Lake City" and I plan to continue my research in the future. In my time at the University of Utah, I worked as a University Ambassador, a Hinckley Intern at Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C., and as the ASUU Vice President of University Relations.

I chose the HSP Program because it is the culmination of my interests. Not only did I get to study health care, but also population health and mechanisms for change, whether they are programmatic or policy in nature.

Ultimately, I hope to attend law school and work in public policy. One of the most valuable things this program has given me is a broad understanding of health. This view of our healthcare system and the factors that influence it will be helpful as I move into a career in policy.
